Pros

Remote work is the only pro.

Cons

Like the other reviews since July, SOMEONE (state auditor maybe?) needs to dig deeper into what is happening at Vaya. As a taxpayer, I am appalled at what I have witnessed. Tracy Hayes, the new CEO, is going to be the demise of Vaya. I cannot fathom why the Board thought she would be worthy to be at the helm. Her behavior is atrocious and violates every value identified in the Playbook. I would bet they would lose more staff if it was known that only a few short weeks after a reduction in force and other cost containment endeavors, the Executive Leadership Team decided to give themselves a 15% bonus and the Transformers got a 10% bonus. Meanwhile, frontline staff were given a 2.5% cost of living adjustment which we all know doesn't really do much considering inflation. One of the CEO's dedicated cronies also developed a compensation strategy that is laughable. She has absolutely no knowledge of how to do this and she and the CEO completely dismissed the work of the internal HR experts and an external (and reputable) vendor.

Pros

Transparent and supportive leadership from executive level down. They responded in such a supportive way after Hurricane Helene and remain transparent during uncertain times.

Cons

My whole team is remote; while I love remote work and have the opportunity to connect virtually, I miss seeing everyone in person on a regular basis.
