Pros

CEO seems to care about the employees to some degree, growing company.

Cons

I would not recommend working for Vector Solutions. Their turnover and attrition is above average. For example, the CSO AIMS to have around a 50% attrition rate. He wants a churn and burn environment, so if you’re not performing you can just be fired and someone else will replace you. The other departments have people dropping like flies, as well. Even though VS is a training company, there is no internal training. You would think investing in continuous education for your employees would be an easy win, but VS doesn’t actually care about the future of their employees. Vector has no culture. The culture team is made up of volunteers that try to plan events in their free time when they are not busy doing their actual job. They try to plan events with very little budget – figuring out things they can craft, DIY, or do for free. When VS brags about how well there are doing in revenue, it would be nice for the little people to reap some of that reward. Stop being so cheap! Leadership and the C-Suite changes frequently. The leaders in place are running departments that they legitimately have no experience in (*cough* CHRO *cough*). How do you have people running departments that they don’t know about? Shows how little they care about the departments that they put those toxic leaders over.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. We carefully consider all reviews to see where we can improve and continue to make Vector Solutions a great place to work. We pride ourselves on our company culture that invests in employees’ happiness and satisfaction through activities, perks, flexible work schedules, and a newly improved flexible PTO policy. Over the last 18 months as we navigated the COVID-19 pandemic together (and still continue to do so), we’ve been honored to host various virtual activities and events - a virtual pizza party and comedy show, guest speaker webinars, holiday contests and celebrations, surveys and polls, and more. And we’ve made sure to show our appreciation for our team members with our multiple Vector swag boxes, which included everything from a bluetooth speaker to shirts and hats to sweet treats and a Vector travel buddy. We are also working to expand our professional development opportunities for team members through training, leadership programs, and more. Attrition is higher across many industries due to the pandemic, but our HR team is working hard to recruit top talent to our team as we continue to grow and expand.

Pros

Coworkers are great, company offers a lot of opportunities that you may not get elsewhere, and the talent pool is largely fantastic.

Cons

Processes in place for changes and performance management don't always make sense. Gaps between managers and communication/decision making across departments and teams can cause significant issues.
