Pros
They have a software product called MAS which is a really cool idea in essence. There were some nice people and some very talented ones while I was there.
Cons
I believe the CEO is the root of all problems at this company, as many other negative reviews have mentioned. He is a petty, vindictive, narcissistic man-child who doesn't have a clue about how to build a software product. In retrospect, watching him flail about was amusing and instructive. Constructive criticism is met with termination. He had no understanding of the original vision of MAS. This is a product thought up by a brilliant developer, built by that brilliant developer, and intended for other developers to use. The genius behind MAS was still at Vendita while I was there, but the CEO did not care about his opinion at all, asking outside "experts" for their opinion, even though these so-called experts didn't understand MAS and had to be reminded of what it was—or what the CEO thought it was—at the beginning of each meeting. As a result, MAS moved in a very different—and in my personal opinion unfortunate—direction. You can have vast amounts of expertise, credentials, and experience, but to this CEO, all his employees are peons whose opinions have no value whatsoever. He also loves to threaten lawsuits and terminations. "Heads will roll" was a favorite expression. He had a full-time lawyer on staff and probably still does, which is a bit odd for such a small company. I'm sure there's a perfectly good explanation for that.
