I left a great job to come work at Ventra and oh my, what have I done! I have never experienced a more disconnected, depressing, dreadful, sad team in my work life. Half the team pretends they do work while the other half is on the verge of a mental breakdown because they lack direction, leadership and support. No excitement, no innovation, no culture, just a bunch of boomers who think they have a clue, when no one has any idea what’s going on half the time. No training, no engagement, zero transparency, people getting laid off left and right because leadership can’t figure out how to staff the business. I’d rather flip burgers than spend another month working in this purgatory.
