Pros
After working at Vera Bradley for nearly two years, I thought I'd come to love working there. Good if you enjoy hectic work spaces, selling, or decent quality product.
Cons
Quickly found just how stressful and agonizing it was to wake up to go to work. You are expected to at all times be selling, with little to no regard for the cleanliness of the store unless it is empty, which is either very often or never until end of day, the hours can either be amazing or dismal, and worst of all, HR doesn't do anything about harassment, doesn't address actual issues within the workplace. Corporate has clearly never worked in an actual store, pushes constant expectations onto the team non-stop. If you're part time, nearly none of the benefits apply to you, there are ZERO growth opportunities because they'll take a new hire over bringing someone who's already worked there any day of the week, and one of the managers at the store I worked at was a closeted racist who drove away all non-white coworkers.
