Pros

Ignore all comments prior to 2023 as that brand/company no longer exists. Vera is struggling in every aspect

Cons

1. All previous DMs were fired and 2 of the worst ones were kept because they knew how to be two faced and female dogs. New DMs came in but no reqs were open for anyone to apply to promote up. They were already chosen. 2. Payroll cut to 95hrs no matter task/shipment/sales 3. No raises for 2025 for all employees 4. In Oct 2024 all ASM positions were terminated unless a 2mill+ store 5. Warehouse layoffs, Tech Layoffs, office layoffs/customer service layoffs 6. Randel and Kelly have destroyed/abandoned any core values from the beloved brand. Everything is about punishing your team for not making sales but the rebrand is their fault. 7. Friends are being brought in to work for the office from Swarovski,Gucci and given positions they have no experience in and lovely wages/bonuses. 8. In 2023 new day was announced and it was because they wanted to be like coach/gucci/LV as that is Kelly,Jackie and Allison type of style. Wanted customers who were stylish, 30-55, rich, and popular because the current customers vera had were dying off. (Their exact words on the slideshow) 9. Stores are closing specifically brand and you will find out 30 days before if you are lucky 10. They do not want to hear your opinion about new day. You will be bullied/belittled and told you are incapable of doing your job. when in reality they made horrible products and turned their backs on customers and employees.

Pros

-Good employee discount of excellent product -Competitions set on all levels of the field to strive in -Extremely great comradery amongst each other with respect for one another (you are not just a number or a location - you are a person) with healthy communications between the fields -We serve a vast and wonderful clientele to market/sell too- -Although the rebrand was not the success some thought it would be, VB is getting back to where she once was and that is amazing! -Diversity holiday time -There is a general concern for both success, respect and diversity

Cons

-Setbacks on for tools/communication engines that lead to some confusion task management -Store closers vs proactive store relocations -Logistical inventory issues -Shopper surveys closed down (previous management choice) -There is little opportunity for internal promotions for career growth

Cons

Private equity mindset of new leaders has sucked the life out of what used to be a great place to work. Talented and knowledgeable staff were all forced out or saw the writing on the wall and headed for greener pastures. While the Jackie regime was inept and refused to listen to subject matter experts, the Ian and Marty tandem may be even worse. They seem dead set on draining any bit of cost out of the company in the hopes of a private equity takeover. Their creative bookkeeping is highly questionable and borderline unethical, as is the treatment of legacy employees.
