Pros
I joined shortly after the spinoff and have been really pleased with my experience so far. You can feel the positive momentum of the business, and leadership seems genuinely committed to creating a positive, inclusive culture. A couple key pros for me so far: - Everything we do here is done with rigor and a clear focus on driving real results, but it doesn't feel like "every man for himself." There's always a team behind you that wants to see you do well. Ask for help or guidance, and you'll get it. People are willing to make time to help you even when they're busy. -My team and L1 leader is top-notch: They're extremely bright, accomplished experts in their fields while still being warm and approachable (a combo I haven't always had in other places I've worked). Also, seeing so many women in leadership at every level of the company has been super energizing for me. - There's a ton of focus on career development through goal-setting, training, coaching, and on-the-job learning. From e-learnings to workshops/kaizen events to learning VES tools you can use anywhere, honing your skills and building new ones is pretty much baked into the experience. - Products that make a difference: The work we do is everywhere, whether you see it or not, protecting our global water supply and supporting the products and essentials we all use.
Cons
- Learning the ins and outs (and acronyms) of the Veralto Enterprise System takes some time, but once you see the tools in action, you see how powerful they can be. - Working in a global environment means sometimes having to work across time zones. I think most teams demonstrate a lot of flexibility and empower folks to structure their days in ways that work for them (if you have an early meeting, by all means, take that hour for yourself later), which is great.
