Pros
In-person work culture: I understand I'm still in the minority here, but I have to say in my experience, things just get done or get resolved faster when we work in person, even when the newest technologies and work habits are embraced by everybody. Verkada is one of the very few places in silicon valley that understood this, the result is that we're thriving now coming out of the pandemic and not having to do any massive layoffs in 2022 / 23 Knowledge sharing / Real-time feedback: My teammates and I still have access to ELT quite easily, (my CMO is just three desks away, and I can go up and see our CEO / Co-Founders without much fuss.) It's been immensely helpful to have an engaged leadership team that shares the same trenches with my team and me, we are able to tackle problems and build fast. Opportunities for growth and professional development: Verkada's unwavering support, belief in talent, and willingness to take bold steps have been instrumental in our team's impressive growth of 400%. The company's investment in its employees is a testament to their commitment to fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and professional development.
