Pros

Great benefits, highly competent colleagues who care about results.

Cons

The SOJO office promotes and teaches managers to believe, act and state publicly that 'anyone can be replaced', even though some employees who resign are replaced with more than 2 VH employees. Management wants to have employees that 'will do what it takes to get the job done'; however, they treat us like we are worth nothing and can be easily replaced. If management at the SOJO office wants loyalty they need to lead by example. There is a lot of chaos due to the constant and significant transitions that have been occurring for years. This is extremely stressful on employees and there is a void of change management control. Change is not always good, there is a limit to the resources of people and tools regarding how many changes all at the same time. Promotions have been handed out over the years even to people who have lost millions in revenue to the company or put it at risk. They still have their high salaries and titles. Those who have been there have seen this all and know who is valued and who is not. People are hired who are friends and are reimbursed at higher salaries than others with more domain expertise, experience with the company and results.

Pros

- Co-workers, mainly disillusioned or deluded in limited/unavailable/unattainable growth opportunities or just hanging on to build a retirement fund. - PTO; almost four weeks right out of the chute. - Well funded; the best equipment, technology, and resources, although clueless management rarely knows how to best utilize it. - Often pay over 20% over regional average (prepare for personal compromises in exchange).

Cons

- Rampant lack of integrity throughout middle management. They'll lie to you or anyone else and circumvent internal policy or employment/trade regulations at their convenience and your peril; watch for buses in your rear-view. - Clients are sold pure fantasy, and production workers are tasked with delivering to ludicrous supporting metrics after the fact, clients are continually misled through poor communication, comical management, and selling out internal colleagues; examples of highly unprofessional client-facing behavior are a daily occurrence. - Zero IT Architects staffed since September 2015. - System of organizational goal-setting and rational measurement of performance against these goals is not practiced (Systems are deployed, unused); bonuses and merit increases are purely arbitrary. - Nepotism and cronyism is your key to success.
