Pros

There are still some incredible people at the company (mostly lower and mid level, not leadership) whose friendships are invaluable.

Cons

The company has lost integrity. There has been enormous growth, which is good for the bottom line, however, the internal structure of the company could not keep up- partners and board before employees. In my own personal experience, and I assume many others based on past conversations with other colleagues, there have been issues with HR not responding to messages (either entirely or not in a timely manner), overhearing they may be gossiping to other employees about employees (not confirmed but concerning nonetheless), and generally a fear of reporting top leaders to them as they at least appear to be biased in leadership’s favor. There has been numerous recent layoffs which has all of us scared that our team is next, and while leadership tries to throw “comforting” sentiments to reassure us that everything is fine, we don’t buy it. We smile and nod because it seems that anyone who isn’t at the top that has an opinion or challenges leadership gets offed.

Pros

Incredibly supportive management. Extremely healthy work environment. Company culture is top notch. Benefits are well above market average. Using PTO is encouraged, and when on PTO general duties are handled by supportive coworkers.

Cons

Extremely fast-paced environment. Real-time issues can arise, and can be stressful to resolve. Remote work can feel isolating, however, managers and coworkers are extremely easy to reach.

Pros

Most people you work with are nice, PTO is respected.

Cons

No strategy to speak of, the product is not good other than the acquisitions. Customers are treated poorly. C-suite is extremely tone deaf. Decisions come randomly from above with no bearing on what people are doing. There is no review cycle on purpose, the only people who get raises have other offers so many people are leaving. Which is a good idea because the stock price is down so all RSUs are underwater. Most teams are horribly overworked and underpaid and the one day a week lunch is getting worse.
