Be wary of their salary negotiation practices - Anonymous employee View Point Health Employee Review

So I was interviewed for one position and told that the highest I could go was $43k even though in the interview I requested $2k higher. When I got the unofficial offer, it was $43k. I requested more again and was told that this was the highest that they could pay me, and I had researched the position and found little to anything on the salary. However, in reviewing the official offer letter, I noticed a change in the title and decided to research that. The beginning salary was $46k and the highest is $51k. I am completely angry and disheartened that I was lied to and conned.
