This is a company in crisis, led by an CEO who doesn't listen to advice from senior execs and believes that he alone knows all. If you are considering a position at Visteon, ask yourself a few questions: Why have they have so many CEOs over the last few years? Why were they forced to hire a CEO with no experience as a CEO? Why have they had three HR VPs in the last two years? What products do they offer that are different from their competitors? If you are being offered a job in an advanced software technology, ask to see the current project status, budget and headcount. Then after you see that, ask yourself if that is a project where you can succeed and compete with the big players who have invested hundreds of millions over the last few years.
