Pros

Nice campus in the United States.

Cons

Bully CEO and other upper management follow his lead on treatment of employees. Everything possible being outsourced (mgmt. sees no value in legacy knowledge but is willing to pay consultants for advice not followed). Outsourcing is all to non-U.S. citizens and demonstrates the real 'value' in diversity as none of those are women. Announced no raises this year which is fine if the 'leadership' wasn't traveling and spending exorbitantly; it is reminiscent of the bankruptcy days when the highest level people were being paid record breaking amounts while individuals were taking a 10% pay cut, reduced holiday & vacation days and time off without pay.

Thanks for the review. Some additional information for perspective: Roughly 2/3 of our business is outside of N. America, the historical center of Visteon. As we evolve the company, it is important for us to make a larger proportion of our investments in those regions where our customers are, shifting the center of the company to be more consistent with where our customers are. As such, ours is an extremely diverse organization when it comes to most definitions of the term. The decision to delay (not cancel) annual increases for a segment of our workforce was due to changing economic conditions. It applied to senior management as well as all others. Holidays or vacation days were not changed.

Pros

Higher than average pay. Significant social media presence. DEI friendly.

Cons

Cut-throat corporate culture. One of the least respected and untrustworthy suppliers in the industry it serves. If being under constant threat of job loss, being on call 24 hours a day, and getting screamed at by middle management suffering from Dunning-Kruger effect is your preference, Visteon is the place for you.
