Pros

Driving away for the last time

Cons

Business plan includes coveting heavily competitive cockpit electronics business with current products that don't measure up to the competition, meanwhile squirreling away existing business that was acquired in 2014 buyout. As business is lost, only way to shore up the bottom line is by shedding employees, which was a prelude to their 1st bankruptcy.

I would direct readers to the Investor Relations presentation on Visteon.com to see a clear articulation of our direction as a company. Note that we have set records for capturing new business in 2015, 16, and are thriving on that front as well in '17, revenue that will largely arrive in 2019 and beyond.

Pros

Higher than average pay. Significant social media presence. DEI friendly.

Cons

Cut-throat corporate culture. One of the least respected and untrustworthy suppliers in the industry it serves. If being under constant threat of job loss, being on call 24 hours a day, and getting screamed at by middle management suffering from Dunning-Kruger effect is your preference, Visteon is the place for you.
