Pros

The customers really liked the orange pens I used to hand out. I wrote this because I HAD to have at least 5 words - my original answer was NONE.

Cons

I was hired for a specific job but happily accepted a special assignment went there was a problem. The special assignment was supposed to last a week. 2.5 years later, after working over 80 hours every week and never getting the assistant that I begged for and had been promised, they layed me off. An upper level manager lived closer to the job site and was going to take over my position so they didn't have to pay per diem or hotels anymore AND they had hired someone else to do my original job so I didn't have anywhere to go. They then promised me a job at a different facility in 6 months (after the holidays), and then decided I was overqualified. Oh and the upper level manager that took my job screwed things up so bad after I left that the customer was calling me on my personal phone asking for help months later. Horrible management, horrible policies, horrible employee relations.

Pros

Higher than average pay. Significant social media presence. DEI friendly.

Cons

Cut-throat corporate culture. One of the least respected and untrustworthy suppliers in the industry it serves. If being under constant threat of job loss, being on call 24 hours a day, and getting screamed at by middle management suffering from Dunning-Kruger effect is your preference, Visteon is the place for you.
