Pros
-Benefits -Clean Warehouse -Monday - Friday schedule -Some of my coworkers were very friendly and I enjoyed working with a great team.
Cons
-Micromanagement -Insane amount of mandatory overtime -Most of management. This is going to be very long. TLDR: Insane amount of overtime, HR and management cannot be trusted whatsoever. Creeps in other departments. Save whatever money you make here and apply to other places ASAP! The amount of work you do here does not equal your hourly pay at all. I genuinely feel like working here was a trap. I worked here for under a year, and you get used to seeing your coworkers quit within the first day, get fired or walk out. If you decide to work here, you will practically have no work/life balance at all. With the amount of Mandatory overtime, we have to work, you will rarely be able to take time off to even go to a doctor's appointment. Mandatory OT felt like punishment. Also, no time and a half unless you have to come in on Saturday! The point system is absurd, and you will be forced to use PSL if you are absent or have to leave early. A lot of my coworkers received write ups for small mistakes, and this is very much a "keep your head down" company. The department I worked in typically has a heavy work volume. We were often short staffed, and we were blamed for it. I was severely overworked, underappreciated, relied on too heavily and I had to pick up the slack every single day!! I felt as if I had to step up to be a pretend team lead rather than our actual team lead. My team seemed to trust me more than him. While I was employed here, I observed a lot of racist behavior from management. I've seen a lot of my black peers get fired, written up or drug tested for the smallest things that weren't their fault to begin with. All of the examples I am going to list here are situations with my black coworkers. One woman received write ups constantly for no reason at all and management seemed to enjoy seeing her cry. Evil behavior. Eventually, she was fired after a year for allegedly not having enough PSL. One man was written up for being on his phone outside DURING HIS BREAK. Another instance is of another man who was in a shaky forklift prior to driving it and was blamed when said forklift had issues. He was scolded by one manager, drug tested, allegedly this manager was "shocked" when my coworker passed the drug test. Mind you, this is an older man we're talking about. That is discrimination. I've heard a lot of terrible things about this manager, and he needs to be investigated immediately. Everyone is either scared or tries to ignore him. If he is one of the faces of the company, he needs to be held accountable for these actions. This behavior cannot go on any longer. Beware of the Shipping department and its creepy men!! One man in particular would always watch me from a distance, call out my name and ask for me when I was absent. He has also said multiple sexual comments to my face. I felt unsafe bringing this situation the HR manager because I suspect she relies on one of the managers to make a decision for her and will stick beside him no matter what. Per the google reviews for the Greer location, the HR manager also has a very nasty attitude, yet she has been in HR for 30+ years...? The only "Visually Comforting" thing about this place is the back of the warehouse. I will be staying far away from this location and never looking back.
