Pros

Employees, and coworkers are all on the same team against the stuipidity of upper management. Steep discount Some customers you can build friendships with. As a manager you set your own schedule. As an employee you can get a very flexible schedule, depending on your manager.

Cons

Nights and weekends are the majority of your shifts. Upper management has impossibly high standards, they dart around for the best possible sale to make them money, going so far as canceling a sale after 1 day because they were losing money on it. All they care about is getting the customer to spend 300 dollars. Any values they say they have is a lie driven by money. It's an atmosphere of "you're a constant failure and you have to keep getting better even though you'll still be a failure when you get better." Manager's get incredibly poor pay even though they drive 80% of the business and keep up with 100% of the work. After reaching Store Manager title there is essentially 0 opportunity for going anywhere else. Dead end job. The only reason cultures and values isn't a 1 star is because the team working with customers in the store genuinely care about helping the customers and generally(I only worked in 3 stores, I don't know everyone's motives) will not mislead you or misguide you in making a decision. All in all, this place will suck you dry of any ambitions and motivations and leave you hating going to work and hating dealing with customers and upper management.
