Shift to fully remote environment since the pandemic, despite the fact it was overwhelmingly voted for by the entire employee base, has taken a toll on the culture, especially for people who like to interact day to day with others in person. Remote work is not for everyone. Also, cultural norms are just different at small (<80 people) startups vs. blue chip company with hundreds of thousand employees. This can be a hard transition for companies to make when acquired.

The team structure is good and they follow agile pretty methodically. You get to work knowing what you're gonna be doing that day. Not many surprises.

The original leadership team is gone, and the culture has suffered some because of it. They grew too fast after being bought by Optum, and that's come back to bite them with layoffs.
