Pros

Voalte is full of some of the smartest people I've ever worked with. I come into work every day feeling like I'm contributing to the product and the company's success, and it's a group of people all rowing the same direction -- to reach the same goal. The products we're building solve real problems and make the work lives of people who have difficult, stressful jobs better -- that's really cool.

Cons

Can be stressful at times. Need to continue to work to maintain company culture as the team grows and changes.

Pros

This company really cared about putting out the best product for healthcare staff.

Cons

They were acquired by a larger healthcare company and lost most of its uniqueness.

Pros

Voalte is the most engaging work environment I've ever been a part of. People may not think of Sarasota as a beacon for young, intelligent, ambitious people, but Voalte has done a tremendous job bringing in lots of talent. There are over 100 employees and yet very few strangers. People here work together well. There is an expectation of excellence (which breeds more of it) and there are very few "weak links". There's a lot to like.

Cons

Like any growing company, there are times where it feels like there's a lot of change. People come and people go. Processes change. Departments realign. Some people don't like change and a fluid work environment. It's not the best thing, but it's a necessary evil because our industry, customers, and competitors are rapidly evolving. Some positions travel excessively and are overworked. There may be a tendency towards burnout. Employee training/onboarding is very much sink or swim. You have to be willing to ask your coworkers a lot of questions and go out of your way to learn stuff on your own. While difficult, you could argue that this weeds out people who aren't smart enough or resourceful enough to figure it out.
