Toxic management culture: Leadership thrives on backstabbing, blame, and favoritism. Titles matter more than talent or ethics — whoever has the higher rank is always “right.”
• No respect for employees: People are treated as disposable resources, not humans. Management shows zero compassion or decency.
• Unethical HR practices: HR instructs managers not to give anyone a perfect rating just to deny raises and bonuses.
• Low pay and terrible benefits: Compensation is at the bottom of the industry and the health insurance is the worst I’ve ever had.
• No work-life balance: Expect late-night meetings, constant pressure, and to carry your laptop on vacation. Even when you’re off, you’re not truly off.
• Hostile culture: They value those who “suck up” over those who work hard or act with integrity.
• No career growth: Forget development, mentorship, or advancement — the company rewards compliance, not competence.
• Unfair treatment: I was terminated without cause after years of top performance, losing both my severance and bonus.
