One of the biggest factors that sticks out to me is the great culture throughout Voleon. We do work very hard, but our work life balance is something we take very seriously. As a single parent who lives a bit far from Berkeley, the team has overall supported my schedule and has made my onboarding process fantastic. There's that wonderful quote of "if you're the smartest person in the room, you're in the wrong room." I believe everyone of us at Voleon feels that way working with all of our colleagues and since my start here, I have learned so much and I know I will continue to expand my knowledge of machine learning and the business exponentially.
