Pros
Love the social aspect of this job and flexible hours. Good side hustle beyond normal work hours, and you can work as much or as little as you want. Job responsibilities are pretty easy, you mostly just check people in and make sure no one is fighting. Most stressful part is when there is an injury from a game.
Cons
Organization as a whole is pretty disorganized- sometimes venues will change or something will be up with the equipment and you won't know until an hour before.
