Pros
There are some fantastic, top-notch, second-to-none Americans working hard.....for this scewed-up company. Other than that there are no pros, none, really! I have another job and resigning that's about it.
Cons
My manager is/was totally incompetent. I caught him in multiple lies. The vacation policy is not straightforward - you "borrow" days from them! What a joke! Bonuses are non-existent, if it would ever be given your manager can take away 50% for no reason. No raises were given. They are constantly restructuring, which really means getting rid of people that management doesn't like ie. independent thinkers. I never felt secure because change is constant and on every level it's like musical chairs with a chair being removed way too often. They have like 300 unfilled positions on the careers site but are constantly cutting jobs, especially older workers. I am in upper management, I see my piers hiding their incompetence by promoting "inapproachablility". You won't find many open door policies here in Houston -upper management is fearfully hanging on to their fiefdoms by ANY means necessary. If you can work any where else do it- you will not learn any valuable, transferable skills at WM. The incentives they recruit you with at interview are rarely, if ever realized (ripoff-salesperson car allowance, no bonuses, no raises, have to borrow vacation days, pathetic insurance.) The health insurance is pathetic and expensive, especially for family coverage. They don't cover most medications or will only cover 50% of what YOUR dr prescribes.
