Pros

Rank and file employees are nice Career opportunities may be there IF you want them instead of giving your hard work to a company that values their employees.

Cons

The company was recently sold and purchased by a private equity firm. I quit for the sake of my mental health and friends and immediate family have commented how much more relaxed I am. Senior Leadership is very toxic, does not have your back (I've worked at places where they do), and not aligned so you may be directed to do something by one person, only to have another leader have you do something else, meanwhile, you've just wasted your time doing what was originally assigned. This could be summed up by saying the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing. Not very efficient at all. 12+ hour days are the norm and expected, and you can tell by how unhappy everyone seems to be there as they are burnt out. There are many process failures and systems that don't function as they were intended to do, making it next to impossible to get work done and if continues, I wouldn't be surprised if we are reading about the company going bankrupt in the next few years. Rules vary by department. The new CEO expects everyone to be in office so they can have meeting after meeting with employees located throughout the country. He will also do podcasts and bloviate asking the podcasts guests to talk about how much better the company is since he took over. Pay was decent but for a company this size, benefits are quite archaic.

Pros

Great training and encouragement throughout. Time management, prioritizations, communication and delegating teams while adjusting for everyone’s stress is key. Fast pace environment keeps everyone focused and detailed oriented.

Cons

Stress can get to anyone. so when you trying to stay calm and delegate effectively and someone is wigging out due to the periodic rush moments, it can make the moment and tension even more stressful. But it’s very temporary, stay focused, stay positive and get the job done swiftly and accurately.

Pros

Flexible work schedule, i.e. full on-site but unlimited paid time off (unwritten).

Cons

Consultants-run company, management takes consultants side not employees, 13-period close, long hours throughout the month, employees no voice/not empowered, employees not supported/no training.
