Reviews and corrections are frequently based on subjective bias or a complete lack of knowledge—such as out-of-state QC inspectors overriding local inspectors who actually understand the regional context and situation. 3. Deeply Inequitable Work Distribution: The process for assigning work lacks fairness. It is not uncommon to be released and sent home just a week after starting before you're getting up to speed—while new cohorts of inspectors continue to arrive for training. Internal Work Competition: QC inspectors who have been in the field for months are competing for active assignments when the workflow slows down.
