Pros

pay over market, only have to work 40% of the time, no oversight, quality of work not required, easy money, cushy, great place to make a lot of money and work not much, work life balance very good

Cons

not learning, getting out of touch with technology, no motivation, weak/bad leadership, ai is changing the world we are left behind, no real feedback process, people are punished for complaining. We had a great CPO but he was pushed out and he went and made a startup of his own, we had a great CTO he was pushed out he went and made a startup, we had a CIO who didn't know tech but knew the business he was removed and now we have a CIO who doesn't know tech and doesn't know the business. We have meetings where people just show powerpoints that don't mean anything. There os fake feedback things they do but it is clear we are expect to just say good things. if someone complains they can get in trouble. CEO seems do be out of touch. in tech we have weak CIO who dont know what tech is has no experience and it we are a large team doing very little. so let me be clear. it is a cushy job if you want to hide and make more money but I am afraid of what will happen if I go back and look for a job and the rest of the world has moved on. don't feel like my work helps the company just busy work

Pros

WD has a great culture. They care deeply about the all around wellbeing of their employees. CEO is very down to earth and recognize the hard work of the employees. How each role contribute to the success of the company.

Cons

Having said the pros. Not one company can satisfy employees all of the time.
