Pros
Used to be a good place to work, until about 10 years ago. Now the staff are paid 10-20% less than other area hospitals, and benefits are being taken away. Out-of-pocket costs for medical insurance have TRIPLED! But there always seems to be enough budget money to fund bonuses for executives, and to hire friends & family into six-figure jobs.
Cons
They are going to lose Magnet status, by using lowball tactics in negotiations with the unions. New grad nurses leave after 1-2 years, and experienced staff won't work here anymore, when they can make much more at other hospitals.
