Waste Connections truly knows how to take care of their employees! Management is great and super hands on. This type of culture is what you want to surround yourself with in a work environment.

There are no cons I have encountered.

General environment with baseline employees is fun & supportive. Day to day tasks and responsibilities are simple to grasp with clear processes and procedures.

No onsite HR representative. Favoritism & discrimination. Lack of accountability and positive communication by upper management. Specific employees protected by google reviews even when they have poor work performance. High turnover in supervisor rolls and not enough employee coverage in Customer Service and dispatch rolls leaving existing employees to work overtime and or do a workload of multiple individuals.
