      Pros

      Managers are cool Good pay - based on experience 50 hours mandatory - nothing above 60 allowed.

      Cons

      Long shifts Expect 10-12 hour shifts daily, only up to 60 hours a week. Forced to work Saturdays on holiday weeks when you already work mandatory overtime daily - yes this means you’re forced to trade you Saturday for the Holiday. It’s the Waste Industry so it literally smells bad - at least most of the time. You will get used to it by the end of your first year.

      Pros

      Waste Connections truly knows how to take care of their employees! Management is great and super hands on. This type of culture is what you want to surround yourself with in a work environment.

      There are no cons I have encountered.

      Pros

      Not many pros. Can’t think of any. People were nice at first but then they all got fired around me. Replaced countlessly.

      Cons

      If you are not part of “The Foot Hills” then you are already on your way out the door. This is a mafia within the company that lie to the cooperate level employees about wrecks, etc. if you aren’t part of the club and you tell cooperate the truth you get the boot.
