      Pros

      Has great benefits as well as monthly appreciation events.

      Cons

      Wichita KS is a training site - which means you get new management all the time. In 3 years I went through 2 Division Vice Presidents, 2 Regional managers and 4 direct reporting managers as well as several other supervisors. No passdown from manager to manager regarding employees so you have to rebuild how valuable you are to each new manager. Very difficult at year end reviews. Work life balance here sucks unless you like to work 50 hrs a week.

      Pros

      Waste Connections truly knows how to take care of their employees! Management is great and super hands on. This type of culture is what you want to surround yourself with in a work environment.

      There are no cons I have encountered.

      Pros

      Not many pros. Can’t think of any. People were nice at first but then they all got fired around me. Replaced countlessly.

      Cons

      If you are not part of “The Foot Hills” then you are already on your way out the door. This is a mafia within the company that lie to the cooperate level employees about wrecks, etc. if you aren’t part of the club and you tell cooperate the truth you get the boot.
