      Pay is ok, overtime if you want it

      Cons

      Management at the transfer stations have NO CLUE what they’re doing, they have no previous knowledge of the business whatsoever, I’m surprised they were even hired, they expect us to use our own personal cell phones for work and don’t compensate us for it, they also have favourites that run to them for the latest gossip, safety only counts when it doesn’t interfere with production, they love to write people up for anything they possibly can

      Pros

      Waste Connections truly knows how to take care of their employees! Management is great and super hands on. This type of culture is what you want to surround yourself with in a work environment.

      Pros

      Not many pros. Can’t think of any. People were nice at first but then they all got fired around me. Replaced countlessly.

      Cons

      If you are not part of “The Foot Hills” then you are already on your way out the door. This is a mafia within the company that lie to the cooperate level employees about wrecks, etc. if you aren’t part of the club and you tell cooperate the truth you get the boot.
