Pros

Autonomy (to a degree) Line manager is undetstanding and helps with upper management issues (ymmv) Generous pension plan + health and dental Most people are nice Building is alright - canteen is very average

Cons

very rigid heirarchy, decisions are made from up high and delivered to the plebs with little feedback or care. Americore corporate culture. Cringe RTO decision will push out the best performing people who have options, leaving only the people who have to or want to stay. Pay not worth 3 days in office though so will be interviewing elsewhere ASAP. So much corporate fluff you have to fight through just to do your job, mostly to do with logging hours, dealing with IT, training and LMS and stupid Objectives which are all pointless ultimately. Decisions are mostly made for the benefit of company share price (which to a degree I understand) but there has to be a balance with worker morale (RTO and pay rise freeze)

Pros

Great coworkers who truly care about putting best foot forward and great technology.

Cons

Compensation has not kept pace with inflation, making it difficult to feel rewarded despite strong performance. * Career progression lacks transparency. Advancement opportunities are limited, and there are no clearly defined milestones or timelines for promotion in some functions. * Organizational priorities and direction frequently change, making it difficult to execute long-term strategies. Communication from senior leadership can feel disconnected from the realities of frontline employees. * The company has become increasingly top-heavy, with decisions often taking a long time to reach the people responsible for execution. * Incentive structures have become less competitive over time, which has negatively affected motivation and retention
