Pros
This is a fantastic place to work. I've worked for big and small companies and Wayspring is by far the best place I've ever worked. The people and leadership are all fantastic and we have a great mission-driven culture. There aren't many jobs out there where you can derive significant purpose from your work by supporting people with Substance Abuse means you never have to look far for that 'purpose'. The leadership here truly take the views of the employees into account and implement ideas that make sense. Work life balance is in a good place and no one seems to feel overloaded or overworked. We also have a fantastic company culture even in a hybrid work environment. The Headquarters in Nashville is also fun to go into.
Cons
One of the big challenges that people don't often think about when coming to work at Wayspring is that it's sometimes depressing to work in the world of Substance Abuse. You get tremendous purpose form the job, and you hear great success stories, but there are also times where something hits a bit too close to home (particularly if you have your own or family history with Addiction). This can be a bit depressing at times so make sure you take that into account.
