Pros

They have a great training program. You will learn a lot of valuable skills you can use for your next job. Weatherby strives on company culture and values. They do everything they can to keep their employees from going to other staffing companies.

Cons

The new commission structure is just embarrassing compared to other staffing companies. Unless you were hired before 2015, you will NEVER make 6 figures working for Weatherby Healthcare. You can run the most successful desk as a sales rep, but they start your commission at 3%. No matter how many doctors you have working for you, your lucky to make 10-15 grand in commission after 2 years of hard work. If your happy with making 50,000 a year after 2 years of 11 hour days Monday-Saturday than this job is for you. Do research on other physician staffing companies and you will quickly see that Weatherby offers the lowest commission in the business. Any body that tells you that their making 6 figures as a sales rep at Weatherby is on the old commission plan.

Pros

Literally nothing is good here.

Cons

This company will wear you down until you quit or end up on a PIP. Their stated culture is “Putting People First,” but the reality is the exact opposite. If you’re intelligent, challenge ideas, or want to work smarter instead of harder, you’ll be made to feel like you’re the problem. Favoritism runs rampant. Long-tenured employees and yes-people are protected no matter what. There are no real boundaries. People will contact your doctors or clients when you’re off the clock or dealing with an emergency. When you raise concerns, you’re gaslit and redirected to surface-level perks like snacks, happy hours, and forced positivity, as if that’s a culture. Even when you do everything right, you’ll still be blamed when things go wrong. Meanwhile, there is a notable pattern of employees with misdemeanor and felony charges continuing to work there with zero consequences, while those who speak up or push back are shown the door. Make it make sense. If you’re a decent, thoughtful person who holds yourself to a high standard, this place will make you feel like the problem. You’re not
