Forced overtime without compensation - Sales Consultant Weatherby Healthcare Employee Review

Pros

As a result of the extreme mental stress management puts you through, you end up forming some pretty tight bonds with your co-workers.

Cons

It’s amazes me that the hr person responding to reviews ignores the consistent theme that management forces sales associates to perform 20-30 hours of unpaid overtime a week. Instead of acknowledging it and asking the question, are we living up to our core value of people first, they applaud the reviewers who have made the sacrifice and sweep it under the rug with general statements like “it’s a hard job”. Why not ask yourselves “can we do better” to ensure our employees aren’t carrying this tremendous stress of meeting unrealistic kpis. There’s a pretty simple solution here. Reduce the amount of mangers you have overseeing kpi’s and berating employees for not meeting them. For every employee you have at least 3 levels of management whose main focus is watching their numbers. That’s pretty wasteful. Refocus your lower levels of number watchers to sourcing leads to feed to sales associates. This isn’t rocket science. Ask yourself the question, what value does each level of mgmt provide and how can they effectively add value to success. It’s time to re-examine yourselves, your processes and identity the waste.

Pros

Literally nothing is good here.

Cons

This company will wear you down until you quit or end up on a PIP. Their stated culture is “Putting People First,” but the reality is the exact opposite. If you’re intelligent, challenge ideas, or want to work smarter instead of harder, you’ll be made to feel like you’re the problem. Favoritism runs rampant. Long-tenured employees and yes-people are protected no matter what. There are no real boundaries. People will contact your doctors or clients when you’re off the clock or dealing with an emergency. When you raise concerns, you’re gaslit and redirected to surface-level perks like snacks, happy hours, and forced positivity, as if that’s a culture. Even when you do everything right, you’ll still be blamed when things go wrong. Meanwhile, there is a notable pattern of employees with misdemeanor and felony charges continuing to work there with zero consequences, while those who speak up or push back are shown the door. Make it make sense. If you’re a decent, thoughtful person who holds yourself to a high standard, this place will make you feel like the problem. You’re not
