Pros
Prologic Corporation (Now rebranded as Webcreek Technology) was my first software job. I was given very high levels of responsibility and expected to know my stuff. Everyone in the company is very polite, and generally fun to be around. Since there are so few people working, you really get to know everyone, especially the CEO. Expect to have a very real difference on the products the company makes.
Cons
Everything that I listed before can also be taken as a con. Not only was it my first software job, it was about everyone else's first software jobs. Sure, people who have been working there longer have more experience, but it is very easy to make structural mistakes when the products are uncharted territory for everyone involved. While there are a very small amount of people, it means that there is a lot more pressure to get everything done by yourself. In fact, I had very little mentoring/guidance/documentation for almost every project I worked on, and had to spend many hours in and out of the office catching up. While managing responsibilities outside of the company, this proved to be extremely stressful - especially considering the compensation. Because this is nearly everyone's first software job, I am sure the company hires in at comically low wages.
