Pros

Unfortunately there are not many. You work remotely which is probably the only "pro".

Cons

First off, do not believe the positive reviews you read here as they are almost all written by the company owners or whomever they’ve instructed / hired to write them. If you want a true picture of what it's like to work for Webcreek, read the numerous negative reviews written here as they are the honest ones. So to begin, the company is owned and managed primarily by two brothers. One has the social skills of a 6yr old whom no one can stand to work with and the other is a micro-managing egomaniac who is only concerned about his own benefit and is willing to take advantage of anyone and everyone (including you) for his own personal gain without a care for anyone else. The ultimate strategy of this company is to hire the cheapest labor possible and get as much out of you as they can before you are thrown to the street. So chances are if you received an offer to work here that means you are located in either Latin America, the Philippines, or Ukraine / India / Bangladesh and your labor rate is very low compared to the developed world. So with that out of the way, why is this a terrible place to work? Well for starters, all of the promises this company makes are false / lies. There is no career progression or upward advancement. There is also no real training offered to you. You have to beg to even take a $10 Udemy course which they won't even pay for until after you've finished it, which will be extremely difficult when they're demanding you work 60-70+ hours a week. And the “workcation” benefit that they try to sell you on is a hope and a prayer (only 1-2% of employees at most are even given this opportunity) so do not count on it or you are just going to be really disappointed. More importantly, the company and all of its projects are EXTREMELY mismanaged. This is primarily due to the incompetence of the individuals whom they hire to organize and design them (aka the “management”). It is also due to the extremely high turnover rate at the company; the average tenure here is less than 6 months and most employees hardly last even a year here. So what this means for you is that you will be thrown into a disaster of a project, given unrealistic demands / deadlines, and then punished (and eventually fired) when you can’t fix the terrible decisions /outcomes of the project that were made before you were even put on. And they do not treat you with dignity when you get fired either (which you almost certainly will). I personally witnessed countless team members get terminated from the company on a moment’s notice even after putting in loads of overtime the previous week to meet some unrealistic deadline demanded of them by the owners. There is no severance given when they fire you either and you will be lucky if they even pay you for the full day that you were fired. They will terminate your access immediately and will not even allow you to say goodbye to your team (and won't even mention to your team that you were let go). And this brings me to my next point. Do you enjoy work life balance? Well you can forget having that when working here. You will be required to work countless nights / weekends to (again) make up for the incompetence of the management who direct the projects. And you may think that volunteering to work extra hours will put you in a good light with management but it won’t. You are merely a disposable resource to them and will be terminated as soon as they decide you are no longer needed. So if after reading all of this you still are considering working here I will leave you with some final words of advice which I wish someone had told me before I made the same mistake as countless others before me have. If you already have any kind of decent paying job, do not leave it to come here. The ONLY reason you should even consider working here is: 1) You are a new graduate and are desperately trying to get your foot in the door somewhere to get any experience, 2) You are desperate for a paycheck and have no other options at all. Other than those two reasons listed, you are simply wasting your time & energy and not doing your career any favors by working here. And if you decide to go against my advice, you will certainly come back and read this and fully understand once you’ve personally been through it.

Pros

I have been employed by Webcreek for about six months now. It has a healthy work environment and my colleagues and managers have been a dream to work with. The job is quite fast paced, but this is a good fit for me, because enjoy a challenge and working under pressure. There has never been a time when I felt bored, or that I was doing work that was below my skill level.

Cons

The salary is a bit low, and there aren’t a lot of events outside of work.
