Cons
No way to get a raise or more hours (Student employee, you get paid a salary).
Mostly it is things that are external from the housing office that is the issues. Dealing with helicopter/rude parents.
Athlete students basically get away with everything
Non-consistent schedule, you could be getting one call a shift or hundreds.
Working 24 hour shifts on weekends, and you are on call when you are on shift meaning you have to deal with any issues or emergencies during the day or at night.
Other RAs can be unwelcoming and sometimes cliquey.
