Pros

There is a lot of joy and purpose in the work that we do. The clients make good progress and the staff are supportive of each other. it is a very rewarding job.

Cons

The pay is less than other places but it is a non-profit and the benefits are great. HR is often short staffed which makes them seem stressed, but once you are past that part to gets much better, my boss and co-workers are great!

The work is meaningful, and I’ve had the opportunity to help people during difficult times. I’ve gained valuable clinical experience, worked with supportive coworkers, and had opportunities to develop my skills. The benefits and job stability are also positives.

Cons

Communication between departments could be improved, and workloads can become overwhelming at times. Staffing shortages sometimes increase stress and make it difficult to maintain a healthy work-life balance. There are opportunities to improve support for frontline clinicians.
