Employee satisfaction is very important to us, and it is troubling to hear your perception of West. However, we thank you for your input, as it is important to hear feedback.
We have had many changes. Since the arrival of Eric Green, our CEO, in 2015, we have actually increased the focus on our customers with a market-led approach, providing our customers with innovative solutions and scientific insight, working by their side to help improve patient health around the world. However, we have stayed steadfast in our commitment to create a work environment where employees feel they're valued, have meaningful work, are treated fairly and are respected.
West is committed to the needs of our team members, and over the past several years we have implemented multiple benefit enhancements and, just recently, improved alternate work arrangements for our team members that enable greater flexibility in the workplace and help balance work and life.
I am disappointed to hear that you’ve noted weak management, specifically micromanagement. As you know, we have a Leadership Model that emphasizes managing work in a way that empowers and builds organizational talent. We will continue to build competencies and training to help us improve in this area.
