Pros
A very good place to work. The benefits are outstanding. We accrue annual leave and sick leave. You can use it any way you need as long as you ask for time off with a little advanced notice. You can accrue 240 hours of annual leave before you loose it. If you are a dedicated to your job, you will be treated with great respect among co-workers. We also get tuition remission for our dependents and our self. This is a huge benefits. I like having the health center on campus. It is easy to get an appointment, and they can help you with most things. The summer semesters are very quiet and it is nice to have the break after the fall and spring semesters. I hope to retire from WMU.
Cons
The pay scale is not great, but most of us don't work here for the money, it is the benefits.
