Best avoid the College of Arts and Sciences at WMU - Director Western Michigan University Employee Review

University administration was appalling. Largely incompetent, but a complete culture of fear among academics, at least in the College of Arts and Sciences. University commonly acts illegally simply because it is a state institution and no one dares take them to the court. Overall, a bullying, awful working environment. All staff refer to this as "the Western Way," being a lack of inspiration and direction, and a thorough-going culture of mediocrity.
