WMU is a vibrant, mission-driven, inclusive organization. I’ve had the pleasure of working with professionals who are the best and brightest in their fields, generous with their knowledge, and supportive of their colleagues and students. Great benefits package.
Cons
Culture makes for a great work environment but does not pay the bills at home. Pay is below average. Credit for total years work experience and years worked in one area of WMU do not transfer if you move to another area. You start over at the base pay for a new position. Raises are minimal annually.
