Pros

Some groups have telework or alternative work schedules. Nice facility with onsite cafeteria, gym, dry cleaning and day care. Conveniently located at the junction of 2 freeways.

Cons

Poor senior management doesn't address poor middle management, which in turn doesn't address poor employees. Good employees are left to do their lazy coworkers' and inept boss' jobs for them for no extra pay or recognition. Constant stealth layoffs...typically, of the people who actually did the work. No bonuses, and pay increases are as minimal as they are rare. You're expected to work long hours physically on site--which even the onsite daycare doesn't support, so good luck if you're a working parent. When asked about poor morale, the CEO actually wrote in his blog that poor morale was the employees' fault, not the management's. Parent company's well publicized accounting scandals combined with few new plant orders cause the long term outlook to be questionable at best.

Slow implementation of new technology to improve workforce efficiency, but the company is investing more in it.
