Senior management has completely ruined employee commitment, morale, innovation, pride, and most importantly - trust. Employee trust has been completely, and irrevocably, broken. In the wake of the latest financial crisis, it comes as no surprise that, as reported in the popular press and as further reported by Toshiba in its 3rd quarter financial reporting extension application, a whistle blower has come forward to highlight the "inappropriate pressure" exerted by the Senior Management team which explicitly violated the corporate governance requirements. This company is run by Executives who are no better than street thugs. The culture at Westinghouse is so incredibly "hushed", muted, and otherwise "chilled" by Senior Management, that it is widely known that the quickest way out of the building is to disagree (even professionally) with a member of the Senior Management team. A "hushed" culture is a great foundation for a company charged with the responsibility of building NUCLEAR reactors.
