Pros
Westinghouse actively seeks ways to keep their employees happy. This is, of course, much better than keeping the status quo. Westinghouse will adjust benefits, salary, etc if it is found to be out of line with the industry. Just realize this can work against you as well. As far as people go I have found it to be a friendly place to work but you are expected to get your work done on time and on or under budget. Slackers need not apply since there are plenty of other businesses content with mediocre performance.
Cons
For starters it is a big organization as much as it try's to hide that fact. As mentioned above the company will attempt to keep benefits in line with the industry. The down side to this is the company is not trying to be a leader in the industry. The company appears to be happy with recruiting good talent but their benefit structure is not designed to keep great talent.
