The culture did not keep pace with the expectations placed on employees. However, be prepared for an environment where long hours, shifting priorities, and inconsistent support can become the norm. I would encourage prospective employees to ask detailed questions during the interview process about workload expectations, career progression, team stability, and how success is actually measured—not just how it’s described. White & Case gave me valuable experience that helped shape my career, but I ultimately realized that professional growth shouldn’t come at the expense of your well-being.
