I had a great small team who were all very supportive and flexible and willing to try new things to engage the students. I greatly appreciated my supervisors who were always supportive and gave me whatever was needed in order to do my job. The company cares about its students AND its employees. The pay and benefits are reasonable, and better than similar education companies in the area. I was able to have a great work/life balance as a teacher.

The amount of personal/sick leave for a year is small, which gives less flexibility if you need time off outside of the school's calendar.

A hard population--not for everyone Report writing can be daunting for teachers, but there is a lot of support Corporate leadership from NY means the team does not feel as connected to one another and there can be a higher turnover than expected Salary for teachers significantly lower than other schools; a good salary for a hard job is meaningful, especially in Marin.
