Pros
Non existent management so you can pretty much do what ever you want. My direct line supervisor is great but upper management is never around. You don't know what they are thinking, doing, or planning.
Cons
Pretty clear that executive management is horrible. I've been with the company for a year now and have yet to meet with my boss's boss. I am not expecting day to day touch points but at least a monthly or semi frequent meeting with upper management would be nice. Never have I worked at at place where status team meetings are not held. I feel clueless as to what woods strategy is or vision. just working away on my tiny portion not know what the entire companys goals are. THis companys lack of an identify is clearly tied to its weak leadership. Too many acquisitions and mergers and know Foster Wheeler is just another big mess. No one knows what is going on and management is not telling any of us either.
