Pros

Financially stable, new CEO seems driven to move the company out of the past and into the present, flexible schedule, lots of long term employees who bring plenty of industry knowledge to the table, nice wellness center and off street parking garage,

Cons

Little care is given to newer employees (who have been with the company for less than 10 years). Their voices go unheard, their ideas are rarely considered, and they will never find long term employees to be open and welcoming. Technology is vastly outdated (from the 80s maybe) and while there is an ongoing effort to modernize, they are only putting themselves into the first ten years of the 21st century. Women in the IT area are treated differently than men, some forced into sceretarial roles. Deplorable behavior is tolerated regularly from the bottom on up. Policy violation is rampant and, depending on who you are, punished at different levels of severity. Policies are sporadically enforced. Promotions happen because of who you know or your length of tenure, not what you know or your capabilities. Company culture is stuck in the 1950s. Some employees are granted more time off/sick time than others, while other employees are required to account for their time off down to the quarter minute. With all the long term employees getting ready to retire, the company faces a devastating blow of sudden lack of knowledge and abilities.
